after a claim with my car insurance they wanted the policy payment in full,i would;nt pay it at first because of the crap service i recieved.4 weeks later i said i would pay as long as my policy ran its term they refused but still want the policy money.now they wont release my no claims bonus until i give them the money. what can i do ?
Best Answer:
i would immediatley storm the office of this shitty insurance company, beat them all with rubber hoses, drag the president into the street and pummel him with rotten tomatoes....after this i would set his car on fire, and beat him about the nuts with a hammer......

Clearly something in your contract with them said that it should be paid at a certain time- and you are not cooperating. you cant just "make your own rules" and not pay b/c you werent happy with their service. so DUH... the answer is pay up. They arent just telling you that you need to for the fun of it.

Dude, when you have claim on your own policy, of course your No Claim Discount/Bonus will be withdrawn (if not, why would it be called No Claim Bonus?). And that is why you would have to pay your premium in full. Whether the claims service is good or bad is another issue. You could lodge a complaint against their claims department but premiun wise you would have to pay full even if you decide to renew with another insurance company.
