They are a decent company. For background purposes though you should know everything about them. Banner was formed from the merger of two other companies. Lutheran Health and Good Samaritan. Both of these companies individually were WAY over staffed and had way to many expenses. This is why both companies on their own had to sell some of their crown jewel hospitals to help pay off debt. Even after both got completely out of debt by the sale of hospitals they kept spending until they were looking at having to do it again. That is when they decided to merge the two companies. Since the merger things have stabilized and they are moving forward at a slow but steady pace.

YES, it is a great place to work. In fact, I would like to work at Banner Good Samartain Medical Center when I am older. They have a lot of intelligent workers, and have been featured on many television programs because of their high quality of care. YES, go work for them!
